Michigan Production Alliance and Switch Post invite you to immerse yourself in virtual reality and experience the only Nokia OZO 360º camera in metro Detroit.
Denny Thrasher of Switch Post in Royal Oak will demo projects that his team recently created with this new technology, and he will share insights learned during the shooting and editing process. You will have the opportunity to view this on a large screen, as well as experience virtual reality with a stereoscopic viewer. A leader in emerging technology, Switch Post specializes in commercials, long format videos, web videos, mobile ads, interactive presentations, large scale multiple screen projects, and 360º virtual reality capabilities.
The Nokia OZO boasts outstanding image quality: Eight 2K x 2K lenses, global shutter and 195º field of view per lens, allowing for 60º overlap with adjacent lenses, capturing 4K per eye of stereoscopic 360º images. Eight microphones capture full spatial audio from every direction, and they are mapped to the viewers’ orientation. Camera operation is Wi-Fi enabled. Accompanying editing software allows you to view and move seams for stitching, so you know exactly where to place your most critical subject matter.
